π° Salary: Β£30,000 β Β£32,000
We are looking to recruit a Goods In Coordinator to support our workshop and project teams by ensuring the efficient receipt, handling, and organisation of materials within our fabrication environment.
This role is ideal for someone with experience in manufacturing or steel fabrication, who is organised, proactive, and comfortable working in a busy workshop setting.
Key Responsibilities
Logistics & Handling
Safely offloading and loading delivery vehicles using Forklifts and Overhead Cranes (previous experience required).
Administration
Maintaining accurate digital records by booking in deliveries, managing stock levels, and carrying out quality inspections on incoming goods where applicable.
Communication
Liaising daily with Contracts Managers and the Workshop Manager to ensure workshop and site-specific material requirements are met. Progress chasing for BOI to ensure deadlines are maintained.
Material Familiarity
Ideally suited to individuals with previous experience within a general fabrication environment. The ability to identify steel sections and general fabrication materials would be advantageous.
Operational Flow
Monitoring the Goods In racks, anticipating shop floor requirements, and maintaining a safe, organised, and tidy workshop environment.
Skills & Experience

Valid Forklift Licence

Minimum 2 yearsβ experience in a similar role within a manufacturing environment

Overhead Crane (OHC) knowledge and experience

Full UK Driving Licence

Experience organising and supporting workshop operations

Computer literate β experience with stock management software preferred

Strong communication skills, able to liaise with subcontractors, customers, and management

Ability to work to tight deadlines with a proactive approach

Strong initiative and problem-solving skills
